I have done a lot of courses from Folkuniversitetet and still doing. Started with face to face and continued distance live course. I did about 2 years of on and of very occasional duolingo and I started from A2. They use the book called Rivstart. Its a good book to self study too. It depends on your motivation and how quick you want to learn.
